GigIQ ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using GigIQ, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your email address and display name when you sign up.
• Usage data: The inputs you provide (service descriptions, profile text), the AI outputs generated, audit results, and credits consumed.
• Payment data: Transaction records including the credit pack purchased, amount paid, and payment reference. We do not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials. Payments are processed by Paystack.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you use the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Process your credit purchases and maintain your account balance
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
• Monitor and prevent abuse or fraud
• Improve AI output quality and service performance
• Respond to your support requests

We do not use your data for targeted advertising or sell it to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database service. Supabase stores data on AWS infrastructure. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your inputs and generated outputs are yours and are not used to train AI models or shared with any external organization without your consent.

6. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party services:

• Supabase for authentication and database storage
• Anthropic (Claude API) for AI content generation. Your service descriptions are sent to Anthropic to generate outputs. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Paystack for payment processing. See Paystack's privacy policy.

7. Cookies

GigIQ uses only essential cookies necessary to operate the Service. These include session authentication tokens (managed by Supabase) and user preference cookies (such as theme selection). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics services.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and generated content will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as payment records).

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export a copy of your data

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email when significant changes are made. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
